Your Honour is an American drama television serial starring Bryan Cranston, adapted from the Israeli TV series Kvodo (Hebrew: כבודו).[1] [two] Information technology premiered on Showtime on December 6, 2020 and ended on March 19, 2023.[3] While ordered equally a miniseries, in August 2021, the serial was renewed for a second season which premiered on January 15, 2023.[4] [v] In July 2022, information technology was reported that the second flavor would be its last.[vi]

Premise [edit]

Season 1: Michael Desiato is a prominent and respected New Orleans judge. When his teenage son Adam kills another teenager in an accidental hitting-and-run collision, Michael encourages his son to plow himself in, but speedily changes his mind when he discovers that the male child whom his son hit was the son of a mob kingpin. Michael decides to protect his son which ignites a dangerous game filled with hiding, lies, clandestine keeping, and very difficult choices and leaves backside tragic and fatal consequences.

Flavour 2: Later the death of his son, Michael is allow out of prison house early on to finally put an finish to the mob that has ruined many New Orlean citizen'south lives and many others. Primary photography for the series began on September 16, 2019, in New Orleans, Louisiana, only was suspended in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[42] Production resumed on Oct seven, 2020, and ended on Nov 25, 2020.[43] The series premiered on December 6, 2020 on Commencement.[3]

On August 24, 2021, Showtime renewed the serial for a 2nd season.[4] On July 5, 2022, information technology was reported that Cranston said that the 2nd season would be its final season on Dax Shepard'south Armchair Expert podcast.[6] On the same day, it was as well announced that filming for the 2nd flavour has begun, and that Joey Hartstone had been named the new showrunner with Keith Machekanyanga promoted to a series regular for the second season.[viii] The following week, information technology was reported that Rosie Perez was cast in a recurring role while Andrene Ward-Hammond was promoted to equally a series regular for the second flavour.[seven] On August ane, 2022, Jimi Stanton, Kay, and Flores were promoted equally serial regulars for the second flavour.[ix] On October 11, 2022, Mark Margolis and Mark O'Brien joined the cast in recurring capacities for the second flavour.[10]

Filming for the second season began on July 18, 2022 and concluded on December 16, 2022 in New Orleans, Louisiana.[44] The second flavour premiered on January xv, 2023 on Showtime.[5]

In a console discussion hosted past Deadline in April 2023, Cranston indicated that his comments on the Armchair Expert podcast regarding the second season had been misconstrued, and that Showtime was "interested" in a third season, simply that he might merely exist involved as a producer on future seasons.[45]
